    10. Reading

DOKS is building toward GPU and private-network features on a simple, cheap base. The record shows fast preview-to-GA moves since 2024 but no roadmap, no fleet tooling and no extended support. A buyer gets low cost and standard Kubernetes with a single cloud and limited enterprise depth.

    11. Open questions and evidence caveats

    • No public roadmap; the say-do record uses release-note maturity labels.
    • Which compliance attestations cover DOKS was not confirmed.
    • Whether a default HA cluster is billed the $40 fee is not stated on the pricing page.
    • FRA1 2024-01-23: about 200 control planes deleted by a configuration error; etcd restored with up to 12 hours of data loss.
    • Newest GPUs are by contract only; DRA, Spot GPU and node remediation are previews.
