Why Zabbix Isn't Enough for Critical Infra
Zabbix is fantastic at metrics, but in a modern data center metric collection is only half the job. Zabbix cannot solve the three problems below.
The Dead OS Blindspot
Zabbix agents live inside the OS. If the OS crashes (Blue Screen, Kernel Panic), the agent dies. You lose visibility exactly when you need it most. You know it's down, but you can't see why.
